rOng Fa's BirTHday!
In my hurry to blog about my shopping escapade on saturday...i forgot to write a word about rong Fa's birthday celebration !
Its two years since i last joined his birthday celebration ..still remembered we had bufffet dinner @ merchant court..then we proceeded to Galleria Hotel where he booked a room..then there was this dressing up part where all present were to dress up as a celebrity of the opposite sex.Almost forgot this part until they mention about jimmy dressing up as......hehe...shan't disclose..but we had fun that night!
On friday we celebrated his 23rd bday ..haha..so fast 2 years le...We went changing Appetites..a restaurant at Marina Square..That place really change a lot , i didn't know my way around , lucky for my cousin who went with me.The restaurant is something like caFe carTEl..the dessert and drinks looks absolutely delicious. :P
After that we proceeded to explanade to cut cake! so we settled @ a restaurant called viet mar?The interior looks very nice , but too bad we were sorta denied entry because we only ordered drinks. :( and had to sit al freasco .
My aim however is to go to the Tea boutique near the entrance of the explanade.. It has this authentic french cafe , bistro kinda feel ..wana go there at least once!
It was our initial choice but due to the rest. being occupied , we had to adjorn to some other places ..
After the drinks the guys were hungry ..so we went to the eating corner outside Dxo..think the place as mentioned by may is called Makansutra something...the food there is nice lei...but prices are on the steep side.
We went home by david's pickup...so fun! we sat behind and for that hr or so..we had wind blowing in our faces ..it was very soothing initially , under the singapore skylight..wahah...breeze with senary...but but but...the breeze ah...was so strong that at the end of the ride , we were alll shivering from the cold , face numbed by the 'breeze' and hair all in the wrong places.
